Quotes to think about.

"We never know the worth of water til the well is dry," states an 18th-century English proverb.

Yes, you can apply it to many of other things. People always say they are starving but they actually aren't because they still have food but just haven't ate. You aren't actually starving till you have nothing left in the house and can see your ribs. You always say that you are broke but the truth is that you have money but just have it in your banking account or say that your poor but yet you have food, water, housing, and clothing on your back. People say they don't have anything, but yet be driving a car, have a cell phone, ipod, or computer, or have money on them.

9.11

8 years ago, I was in 2nd grade in Mrs. Saunders class. The weeks following 9/11 were bad and no one could forget this devistating event. I remember seeing all these pictures on the news and hearing about it on the radio. That day, all we did at school was watch the news. I think 20 years ago we will still be remembering this horrible event. I think they chose America because it is such a beautiful country and it was the best out there. They probably thought that if they did this then we would go down hill but as you can tell it just made us stronger. I don't know of anyone directly affected by this event, but I know a lot of people lost their lives and their families are remembering this day. These people will always have a spot in my heart. The story would be from my point of view, remembering back to my 2nd grade year in Mrs. Saunders Class. It would be about how sad of a day it was and how it is always going to be remembered. This is a horrible day in history, that will never ever be forgotten.

Friendship Bellringer.

I think friendship is way more important than yourself because you always need friends. You don't need to center everything around you and only think about you. You need to worry about other people besides yourself. If you have you good friendship, you should make it last and make it to were it is a strong friendship so that you can always trust each other and never think that you are being lied to or anything.
